Jodo Seminar in Grenoble

November, 19th and 20th 2011

People from Corsica (thanks to Marie-Ange who came from so far away!) and from Côte d'Azur (Cannes and Nizza, 13 persons...) had gathered in Grenoble for the second annual JODO seminar from November 19 to 20.

Led by Gilles Tache who was assisted by Jean-Claude Hamel, a group of 24 participants gathered on the subject SESSA TAKUMA (calligraphy realized by Marie and Jacky Ponsot) with the intention to polish their techniques!

Saturday morning was dedicated to KIHON TANDOKU and SOTAI practice...with interesting corrections on IKYOTOCHI....!

During the last hour of the morning training we practiced KIHON with SAKAN OMOTE.

According to the levels, we practiced altogether OMOTE and CHUDAN in the afternoon and insisted on the difference of rhythm between these two series.

The training at 6.30 a.m. on Sunday morning was dedicated to the 12 KENJUTSU Kata.

The last morning on Sunday we were able to polish our practice in two groups: one group with OMOTE, CHUDAN, KAGE and the other group with SAMIDARE and GOHON-NO-MIDARE.

All participants were eager to pratice during the seminar ... and we would like to thank the teachers and the participants for their work.

See you again next year...!
