Our yearly meeting was again marked by lot of sun and good mood!
The subject of our Gasshuku was AWASE which we have practiced throughout the weekend not only with the weapons, but also during swimming and during the meals!
The Riviera - Corsica group has been enlarged by the Grenoble group, and we again renewed our collaboration and could enjoy our work both on kihon in the morning, before breakfast and on the series of kata during the day, while the level of the practitioners allowed us focusing on the advanced series such as kage, samidare and Gohon no midare. And also one hour was devoted to okuden for certain.
Gilles and Jean-Claude have still impressed us with their teaching that is enriched by their differences and complementarities. They asked Dominique Boetti to share with us his knowledge of ken ... thanks to our teachers and to the attendance of everybody, the whole course has been exciting!
It only remains for me to thank everyone without forgetting our calligraphers from the South. Marie has realized a beautiful calligraphy and Jacky offered a bookmark to everybody that reflected the subject of the course, a big thanks to them both!
Appointment is made for next year!
... at least in Corsica as we meet in November in Grenoble and in April in Cannes.
