6th Gasshuku in Hungary

September, 23rd to 25th 2011

This was the 6th gasshuku with Fred in Hungary. This time the gasshuku was organized in the city of Győr by the members of the local Bonsai Aikido Association.

There were 28 participants from Hungary and Czech Rep., thanks for coming again and again.

In the past couple of years we decided to organize gasshukus in the countryside and not in Budapest in order to promote Jo more widely in Hungary.

As a result of that there is a new group in Győr and another one just formed in Eastern Hungary.

The training program was shaped accordingly, the Kihon was stressed very much. Each series were demonstrated and explained in details.

Additionally, Fred put some teaching aspects in the practice to help the leaders of the new groups in their teaching. Just for example he emphasized to break each exercise to pieces and we had to repeat them with counting. That draw our attention pretty much to the details.

Saturday was finished with some Omote katas.

On Sunday the practitioners were put in groups to practice still the series of Kihon, then Omote, Chudan, Ran-ai, Kage, and some Samidare as well.

I hope to see you next time in Hungary.
